Problem Gambling Awareness Month is an important opportunity to bring people together around prevention, education, and support. It helps reduce stigma, encourages open conversations, and empowers individuals and families to recognize warning signs and seek help earlier. By raising awareness and promoting available resources, communities can strengthen protective factors, expand access to care, and build a healthier, more informed approach to gambling that prioritizes well-being, recovery, and resilience.

Each PGAM season also features a wide range of training sessions, community outreach events, and awareness activities happening across the state. We encourage organizations and partners to use the embedded form to add their event to our new statewide PGAM calendar. If you’re interested in getting involved locally, be sure to check out our ready-to-use templates for requesting a local proclamation or submitting a letter to the editor to your local publications to help amplify the message in your community.
