The Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling (CCPG) does not advocate for or against gambling but is committed to working with all stakeholders to help individuals and families impacted by gambling related harms.

CCPG provides Connecticut’s only 24-hour Problem Gambling Helpline, offering support via phone, chat, and text. CCPG also implements advocacy, prevention, outreach, and education programs serving students, veterans, and other at-risk populations.

Resources: We are proud to work with our many partners to provide help and resources for individuals, family members and communities impacted by gambling related problems. Here you’ll find the links to treatment programs, support groups, and the forms that can enable you to voluntarily self-exclude from gambling offerings, if you so choose.

ADVOCACY

The CCPG serves as a voice for many individuals and families impacted by gambling related harms. As a result, CCPG plays an active role in ensuring that problem gambling is included as a factor in all debates around gambling and gambling expansion. We also seek to educate about and advocate for policies that will help to reduce the risks to those who may be affected negatively by gambling and provide support, resources and referrals.
