Marvin is the co-founder and current Executive Director of the Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling. He has also served as Vice President and Secretary for the National Council on Problem Gambling and continues to serve on the Board of the National Council. Mary A. Drexler, MSW
Assistant Director
Mary has been in the field of social services since 1979, with several years of experience in nonprofit management. She also has extensive experience in the field of suicidology, having served 3 years on the Council of Delegates for the American Association of Suicidology. She holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. [ email ]
Francesca L. Bunovsky
Office Manager
Fran's experience has been in the management field where she planned and implemented medical education programs for pharmaceutical companies. She managed educational grants to provide continuing medical education for doctors and pharmacists across the country. As part of her various responsibilities as Office Manager, she is instrumental in the implementation of the annual CCPG conference. [email]
Michelle M. McBride, M.Psy.
Prevention Educator
Michelle earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Psychology at Central Connecticut State University. She made a career change from research and development of Printed Circuit Board chemistry and international technical services to a more fulfilling profession in Prevention. Michelle is charged with educating Connecticut residents and businesses on problem gambling prevention through exciting programs such as our “H.Ed.G.E. Your Bets” and “Business W.A.G.E.” campaigns, among others. [email]
Carlos Reinoso Jr.
Prevention Outreach Educator
Carlos has been in the field of Human Services since 1998. He has worked in clinical and educational settings, collaborating with many community organizations. Carlos has an extensive background in the areas of case management, training, and community prevention/education activities. He enjoys working with the public and works well with people of many diverse backgrounds. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese as well. He has an Associates Degree in Human Services and Behavioral Healthcare, and is currently working on completion of his Bachelors in Human Services and pursuing his Masters in Community Counseling.
