HELPLINE COVERAGE EXPANDS

Two new state problem gambling helplines have come on-line since June to expand New England coverage. The Rhode Island and Vermont Helplines join the Connecticut Helpline and the recently expanded Massachusetts Helpline. All Helplines are 24-hour coverage. The CT Helpline is staffed by trained recovering gamblers; the other Helplines by professional counselors. These lines provide help and support to people with gambling problems and those who care about them, as well as information and related materials.
